MAY 12, 15 .. TODAY I FLY TO NEW DELHI .. INDIA ..

Because of the time difference between Hong Kong (May 12th) where I am .. and the United States (May 11th) where many of you AND my computer server who dates my Post are located .. there are two dates above on this Post.

This evening .. At 7:50PM Hong Kong time .. I am scheduled to depart for New Delhi India. New Delhi is the left balloon and Hong Kong is the right balloon below.

Rather than taking the MTR (which costs HKG$ 3.8) I will take the train (which costs HKG$ 100!) to the airport. The train is slick and air conditioned and fast and just plain nice. First Class ‘Zilla!

I wonder how many children (and even adults) who view this in India will never see the below scene(s) out from an airplane window.

I will be in-the-air for 5-Hours and 45-Minutes ..

I am scheduled to arrive into New Delhi at 11:05PM (New Delhi time) which will be 1:35AM tomorrow Wednesday May 13th in Hong Kong. Yes indeed you mathematicians .. there is a two and one half hour time difference (2-1/2 Hour) between Hong Kong and India. For reasons I do not understand India is 1/2 Hour different from the rest of the world time zones.

I will spend tomorrow getting a cell phone setup for use in India.  Thanks to having Simon’s ‘old’ smart phone I will be able to purchase an Indian ‘sim card’ and insert it into my ‘smart’ phone. In India .. as I have now done for several years .. I will use Vodaphone (a British firm) as my carrier.

After getting a Vodaphone going .. I plan to go to the New Delhi Rail Station and book a train .. The Shatabdi Express .. to Agra Cantt leaving Thursday morning at 6AM and arriving into Agra Cantt at 8AM. I plan to stay in Agra Cantt one night and return to New Delhi. Then I plan to take the train .. The Rajdhani Express .. to Calcutta.

BET NO MONEY ON THE ABOVE SCHEME!

IF you are going to bet on anything .. bet that I will get a Vodaphone going tomorrow Wednesday the 13th.

NOW I NEED TO GO BACK TO 23 MERCER STREET AND GET PACKED FOR TONIGHT’S FLIGHT .. I CAN’T SIT HERE WAITING FOR YOUR MAY 12TH TO ARRIVE SO THE DATES ABOVE ARE THE SAME!
