Yesterday .. In my Post dated MAY 18 .. I promised this Post just for Youg.

A PROMISE MADE IS A DEBT UNPAID .. ROBERT W. SERVICE ..

One of my best friends in Inda is Jeevan. Jeevan lives here in Agra Cantt the home of the Taj Mahal. As you can see in the background of the first two photos below .. Jeevan is in the luggage business.

Back in December of 1990 some twenty four years and counting .. Jeevan .. by hand .. made my beloved India Bag.

We became friends and our friendship has lasted through all the ensuing years.

IF I MISS ON SOME OF THE BELOW DETAILS IT IS BECAUSE THE SUBJECT IS PAINFUL TO THE FAMILY AND I DON’T ASK TOO MANY QUESTIONS. I WAS HERE WHEN IT HAPPENED.

Jeevan (on the right) had a younger brother Sanjay.

I knew Sanjay when he was a teen ager. Back in the Spring of 2013 Sanjay and Jeevan’s eldest son Vikas were in the mountains trekking together. At the time Sanjay was age 35. I believe that they were part of a religious pilgrimage up the mountain.

SUDDENLY INSTANTLY SANJAY DROPPED DEAD OF A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK!

Just-Like-That .. With Vikas at his side .. Sanjay a young man in-his-prime was gone forever.

Sanyay left two sons .. Youg and David. Youg is now 4 years old so he was 2 years old when his Daddy was taken from him.

The other day .. So proud of his class photo .. Youg came into Jeevan’s shop to show it to me. It sure is hard to type with tears in one’s eyes but if Youg can carry on so too can I.

The photos speak for themselves. Talk about heart-rending! Youg was just so proud to show me his class photo. Luckily I did not break down at the time. I felt like it but did not. Lord God just look at this precious young man!

Family-wise the Indian people do it right! Youg was just absorbed into the greater family! Surrounded and enfolded with love and caring!

I believe with every fiber of my being that God cries with us when such things happen in our lives. God does not cause bad things to happen to good people. Read Rabbi Harold S. Kushner’s book by that same title .. ‘When Bad Things Happen to Good People’ ..

ON 12 JUNE 2015 I ADDED SANJAY’S PHOTO TO THIS POST. I FOUND IT GOING THROUGH MY FILES. IT MAY BE ONE OF THE FEW PHOTOS TAKEN OF SANJAY.

It was priceless to see Jeevan with his bright smile … also, Youg with such a bright smile and looking SO proud of his class photograph. What a tender post. I was also moved seeing INDIA BAG in the forefront of the picture of Jeevan. That bag has traveled many miles with you!! Sweet post all the way around … love, Patti

  It was so moving when Youg came in with his class photograph .. I am SO THANKFUL that I did a little photo shoot and many of the photos turned out very well ..

  THAT ANDREJ is what touched my heart and my soul! The importance Youg placed in seeing that I was indeed touched and interested in him. In a way he had to have the nerve to approach me with his class picture. I thank God I was sensitive enough to see what was happening. Enough so that I snapped the photos. He loved the photographic attention. Thanks Andrej ..

I’m sure your little friend could feel the love you have for him and had for his father. He sure is proud of his school photo and what a grand photo that is.

I know you were very encouraging and a blessing to him during the time you spent together when you took these photos.

  Thank You so much Shaddy. I came back here on June the 12th and slipped a photo of Youg’s father Sanjay into this Post. Then I checked comments and here was yours. Sorry to be so late acknowledging it Shaddy.

I love the photo of Sanjay you added recently. This is a priceless photo of Jeevan on the right and Sanjay on the left.

So sad that Sanjay left this world.
