Isn’t this absolutely positively amazing! I did not like the above photo. I saw it and I said to myself ..

“Little Kan! You do NOT want your followers to see the above photo and to think ‘Little Kan is working in a mess’ which I most certainly was! ”  So I cleared up (some of) the mess and snapped the below photo!

Ah-h-h now I ask you .. “Don’t I look far more organized?”

BIG KHAAN!

Looked down upon me from his horse and said to me his LITTLE KAN  ..

“That is a better! LITTLE KAN we don’t want anyone to think that we Mongolians are not organized!”.. So BIG KHAAN put away his sword and decided NOT to BEHEAD ME HIS LITTLE KAN at least not yet at this time.

BECAUSE OF HIS HISTORY AND WHO HE IS ..

I must respect and remain always aware that .. HE .. THE GREAT KHAAN .. is to be feared and bowed down to. A lot of his opponents and their kin were .. were .. were .. 

Well .. IF you have studied your world history you know what I mean.

Now for a small disclaimer about this being ‘MY’ computer ..

I am in HAPPY’S home using HAPPY’S room and HAPPY’S computer and HAPPY’S chair and kitchen and bathroom and ALL. I needed to add this disclaimer to my statement above about this being ‘MY’ DELL DESKTOP COMPUTER because most of my new Mongolian friends have an .. ah-h-h-h .. somewhat limited English Language ability and I don’t want to MISLEAD MY FIERCE WARRIOR BAATAR MONGOLIAN FRIENDS by telling you all that this is ‘MY’ computer ..

By the way .. As Gullible probably already knows .. the Mongolian word baatar is almost an adjective as it is part of the name(s) of people and places and even animals.

I could change my Mongolian name from its now very simple KAN to a slightly more elegant Kanbaatar .. But the GREAT ONE .. THE GREAT KHAAN .. might not approve of this so I shall think twice before I make such a change.

HAPPY’S DELL DESKTOP COMPUTER has many bells and whistles I must add.

Megan!  My dear Megan! In the above photo you look like you just ate-the-cat BUT the cat is still alive and very well.

Megan .. IF I were you .. I too would be very pleased with myself after the assembly that you orchestrated and directed and conducted here in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. WOW! You Megan were absolutely Phenomenal!

Wednesday Morning .. July the 22nd .. 2015 .. Ulaan Baatar .. Mongolia ..

THE FLIGHT .. HONG KONG TO ULAANBAATAR ..

I sit here absolutely half-asleep!.

I lay down at 4:15PM yesterday afternoon (July 21st) having said good-night to Patti during a nice 45-minute telephone visit. I awoke about 9:15PM last night (July 21st) to text Patti and I again crashed-out-and-down until this morning at 8:15AM when I struggled awake. You do-the-math .. I slept for about some sixteen (16) hours.

I was past-the-point of utter total exhaustion having been on-the-run since last Wednesday the 15th of July when I suddenly realized in Hong Kong that I had an airplane to catch at 12PM noontime on Thursday to fly to Mongolia. And I exclaimed to myself .. “Little Captain (at that time I was still the Little Captain and not yet the LITTLE KAN) you have got-to-get-packing here!”

I am exhausted and worn-out from the trip up here to Mongolia and the events of a jam-packed weekend (July 17/18/19) and then having spent basically all-night (July 20-21) putting up my blogspot Post about arriving in Mongolia.

I think I worked twelve (12) hours on that Post because the broadband connection here has been extremely slow..

“Cap how on earth are you putting-up-with the speed of this computer? It is so slow I can’t believe it. You have got to have Happy upgrade the broadband service speed. It will cost you about 15-cents-a-day your money!”

Whereupon CHARGER immediately telephoned Happy who is vacationing someplace near here and advised Happy of the situation. It must-have-worked because ..

Off we go to Hong Kong’s International Airport on the train. Hong Kong International Airport is located on a small (basically man-made) island off Lantau Island named Chek Lap Lok Island. So sometimes it is called Chek Lap Lok Airport.

Do all of you see the Train Icon to the left at the top of the photo below?

Travelers are getting constant updates as to where you are as well as updates on local news and sports.

My MIAT Mongolian Airlines Flight will be leaving Terminal T1. Fourth line down ‘Zilla! Got it? I sure wish you would up-and-come to Hong Kong ‘Zilla!

Here we go! We are leaving Hong Kong Station and the monitor tells you so!

We are in Kowloon Station!

Hello Hong Kong International Airport. Hello Chek Lap Lok.

Hong Kong Chek Lap Lok .. My-Oh-My .. What have I ever done to now know you like the back-of-my-hand.

Ulaan Baatar .. Here we come! Gate 502 you say! Note the spelling of Ulaan Baatar. Two (2) words.

Off we go for Gate 502 ..

Hong Kong Chek Lap Lok is ENORMOUS AND IMMENSE!

You can not just walk to Gate 502. No. FIRST you have to ride a bus from the main Hong Kong terminal out to a smaller terminal just like you do at Washington Dulles Airport.

Here we are .. On-The-Bus Patti! .. A PRIVATE GIGGLE BETWEEN PATTI AND MYSELF!

And while we are On-The-Bus .. I mean we were out-amidst-them on the tarmak!

With some very BIG BIRDS flying into Hong Kong Chek Lap Lok quite close-by us!

We are now getting very close to Gate 502.

FINALLY !

Note the spelling of Ulaan Baatar. It is commonly spelled this way as two separate words. Many people simply call Ulaan Baatar by these two letters .. ‘UB’.

HOWEVER the proper and the most common spelling of Ulaan Baatar .. as you see in the below photo .. is ONE WORD .. Ulaanbaatar!

Well Deegi!  One airport waiting lounge pretty much looks like another and I did not snap the lounge back in Hong Kong. The world loves your smile Deegi!

The Time Has Come Mongolian Airlines Has Said .. To Board The Aircraft .. Down the ramp we all went to the aircraft ..

First in line means First Aboard! ..

I have nothing but good things to say and the highest of praise for MONGOLIAN AIRLINES!

The food and the service were PHENOMENAL!  Second to no other airline in my opinion! As good-as-it-gets! And I KNOW GOOD!

Do you want good eats?

I mean I had GOOD EATS!

Mongolian Airlines and My Creator arranged it so that I sat next to two (2) very thirsty beer drinkers who could have cared less about food ..

So I not only had some GOOD EATS .. I had their Good Eats along with My Good Eats meaning I had LOTS OF GOOD EATS!! 

Then to make my trip even more pleasant .. on one of my trips to the bathroom the cabin crew slipped into-my-hands some more of my favorite deserts!! I believe that in total I munched down six (6) of them.

Where was I? .. Excuse me a moment while I BURP! The entire trip I became friends with the plane’s wing-tip.

“Wing Tip how about it? Let’s you and I have a safe and enjoyable trip to Ulaan Baatar!”

It took me some time .. most of the flight .. but I now believe that the Mongolian Airlines Logo is a Wild Horse. At least it looks that way to me.

Clouds ..

And more .. Ever more .. Beautiful Clouds .. Some of the best clouds that I have ever seen from an aircraft and I have flown a flight or two or maybe even three flights ..

There she is .. Mongolia .. and Ulaan Baatar ..

“Ladies and Gentlemen .. We have landed in Ulaanbaater .. Please remain seated with your seat belts securely fastened until we have come to a complete stop at our arrival gate.”  I could say those words in my sleep I have heard them a time or two or maybe .. just maybe .. three times in my life.

Wing Tip .. Beautiful Wing Tip .. We did it .. You and I .. We both got here safe and sound!

“Ladies and Gentlemen .. We have now arrived at our arrival gate .. You are now free to remove your seat belts get up and remove your luggage from the overhead luggage bins. Please be careful because some of the luggage may have shifted during the flight.”

Towards our arrival hall we proceeded.

We all arrived at Customs and Immigration. One of the first-ever times since ‘911’ that I was not greeted with armed para-military personnel saying to me .. “Do not even think about taking a photo here my friend.”

Could it be the below sign says that? I don’t think so because it was far removed from the above scene.

You are TOO MUCH! You are my Mongolian Soul Mates!

Patti and I both agree .. The two of us have always thought it was Genghis Khan and NOT Chinggis Khaan!

It is a pretty modest and laid-back airport ..

And .. Hold Onto Your Seats .. I have even more photos of the flight but I am feeling so good that I have at least shared a great many of them with you.
