Today .. Saturday the 5th of September .. is my birthday.  I have now reached age 79 and having done so I now begin my 80th year of life.

    This is such an incredible trip through memory lane of our past year. Nice to revisit the places we touched (insert gentle smile here!). It reignited many images and wonderous experiences. It is so touching that it brought me to tears … happy and grateful tears … to have shared much of it with you, and I look forward to re-joining you in late October to continue our journey together. We are so blessed, and I wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY as you “adventure” into your 80th year. The world awaits us!! I love you dearly and love sharing my life with you. Happy tears, happy smiles, lots of gratitude. Patti

    My husband Ken got a driver’s license in California when he was 13 because his grandfather told the clerk “the boy is in his 14th year.” Granddad wasn’t lying. That’s the way he thought. And 80 sounds much cooler than 79.
