Patti just came home from a funeral service that has both of us in somber moods. A lady had cancer go into her brain and that-was-that. A basically wonderful woman .. full of life and enthusiasm who helped other people to her last breath. Not a spring-chicken she seemed to have lived a full life. Her passing was not instantaneous. She had time to make peace with her disease. How well do we know each other? We really knew little about her except for our casual contact with her over twenty-some years.

Life is short .. Life is an unknown .. A simple lower backache turns out to be a serious problem with one’s kidneys or something else. One slip and a bad fall and you never get out of a nursing home because the ruthless medical octopus wants total control of you and your finances. One very bad head cold from the change of seasons turns into pneumonia. I currently have the head-cold-from-hell and my lungs are my weakness. Here in Mongolia flu shots are something vague that no one seems to know about. One moment of indecision in traffic or running for a bus and the show of life is over and is done with. We .. all-of-us .. are hanging by threads and some unknown force is randomly walking around with scissors cutting threads. Just look around you. I don’t have a clue how those without a faith based life cope with the misery we see daily.

IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE IF PATTI CENSORS THE ABOVE NEGATIVITY AND I JUST HIGHLIGHT AND DELETE IT IN TOTAL .. THE DARK-BLACK DOTTED-LINE I AM NOW GOING TO PLACE BELOW  WILL BE MY RE-START.  HERE WE GO! .. YO! .. COME IN DARK-BLACK DOTTED-LINE .. I HAVE GOT TO DO A RE-START HERE .. AH-H-H THERE YOU ARE ..

Mr. Swindoll wrote in part that .. “I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you … we are in charge of our Attitudes.”

I told Patti I can’t understand it .. I am drinking gallons of liquids to combat this nasty head cold and I am eating well. Patti said .. “Food and Water are NO REPLACEMENT for sleep!”

I feel better BUT ..

Here is my problem: Because I have everything .. (1) health .. (2) money .. (3) the guts to follow where I am being led by a force I can not comprehend but who seems to lead me into one fascinating life-situation after another ..  I do not have a right to feel less than 100% ebullient at all times! Lord God I even have Google and Dictionary.Com to help me to spell ebullient! What on earth more can I ask for!

Last Saturday the 26th of September I was asked to come to Choir Mongolia and give a talk to cover 2-1/2 Hours.

There were between 110 and 120 in attendance.

After my talk was finished a young man asked me if I was a Christian.

I said yes. He said he was also a Christian and asked me IF I would pray for him because he has an upcoming serious operation in late October. I did as he asked me to do. Hands on the whole thing. He speaks very little English.

I have opened up a fourth website for Mongolians. IF my work here is to continue I desperately need another translator. It is too much to ask Changer to do all of my translating. The folks in Choir want me to come back October 10th. Changer is not able to go down with me.

I got a telephone call from a lady just now.  She said in absolutely perfect English how much it meant to her husband for me to pray over him last Saturday.

I said .. She said ..

You speak perfect English .. I majored in English in university .. Will you translate for me in Choir and for me on my website .. Yes! I would be honored to do so.

You believe .. You do NOT believe .. One or the other .. There is no middle ground here.

I sign off .. Amazed God .. Absolutely and Positively Amazed ..
