HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017

Patti and I send each of you our very best for a HAPPY JOYOUS 2017.

This is our first ‘Post’ for the YEAR 2017 and we wanted it to be upbeat and positive.

The first two photos below show perhaps the most famous and recognizable member of the cactus (cactaceae) family ..

Saguaro Cactus.

A Saguaro Cactus does not begin its life with arms. The arms sprout when the Saguaro Cactus is from 50 to 100 years of age! A Saguaro Cactus without arms is called a ‘spear’. Below is a photo of a ‘spear’.
