AUG 14 / 15, 17 .. FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE .. IRKUTSK ..

Tuesday morning, the 15th of August here in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Where you may be, it is Monday evening, the 14th of August.

This past Sunday night, the 13th of August, I went-to-bed feeling well and healthy.

Yesterday morning, the 14th of August, I awoke with pains in my lower left abdomen. In short I really felt off-balance. That is to put it mildly. But I struggled through yesterday as best I was able. I basically slept a lot yesterday. No change in the abdominal pains.

I went to bed last night about 8pm my local time. I slept all night. Awake, back to sleep, a cycle. I was really dreaming.

This morning, when I awoke to get up I thought to myself..

“Goodness I just slept 12-hours, I really need to get out of bed.”

I did. Same situation. Pains in my lower left abdomen.

I called Deegi (who, by-the-way is Medical Doctor) and discussed this with Deegi.

FIRST (I am just back) I went to the train station and CANCELLED my upcoming train trip to Irkutsk, Russian Siberia, with my friend David.

Now, after I publish this Post, I am going to do just that. I am going to the SOS Medica Mongolia Clinic mentally prepared to have my appendix removed.

I will sign off knowing .. Who Knows What Is Going To Happen ..

The idea of trying to return to the U.S. with (possibly) an appendix in crisis is not an option. It it were to burst, that is life and death on-the-spot. As I see it, I have no choice in this matter.

What a ride my life to date has been.

I plan to have more of it, God and the Good Lord Willing.

IF this the BIG IT. So be it. Right now all I want is relief from the lower left abdominal pain I am experiencing.

I just got a phone call from Deegi. She is coming to pick me up and take me to the clinic herself. Talk about a friend.
