AUG 27, 17 .. PART 2 .. TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING T-8 POSTED.. HONG KONG IS SHUT DOWN..

Pakhar has arrived in full force. Maximum wind gusts have reached 173 Km/Hour.

At 0845 Hours this morning, 8:45am, Hong Kong, Sunday morning the 27th of August, Tropical Cyclone Warning T-8 was posted.

Hong Kong is shut down.

This is in the wake of Hato which hit Hong Kong last Wednesday. Hato is considered to have been the worst storm to hit Hong Kong during the past 50-years.

    I have just Googled the 9 day forecast for weather in Hong Kong … it indicates that Tuesday will be partly sunny … l will keep my fingers crossed. Yes! Stay in. Stay dry. Stay safe as you never know what strong winds will throw through the air. No ice cream outings today, sigh. Smiles. Love. Patti

      As time proved out, it was indeed sunny and bright on Tuesday the 29th of August when I flew from Hong Kong to Seattle. Love Cap
