SEP 13, 17 .. A DAY IN MICHIGAN’S KEWEENAW PENINSULA
Patti and I are now in Hancock, Michigan, located in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula.
The map below is my four hundredth (400th) map that, thanks to Andrej my webmaster, I have posted here on Dot.net.
Here, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Hancock and Houghton are sister cities.
Yesterday afternoon, we drove here from Iron Mountain.
It was a drive that was as-good-as-it-gets on a magnificent early autumn afternoon.
Today we plan to drive North and explore Copper Harbor and environs.
Copper Harbor is way up on the tippy-tip of the Keneenaw Peninsula.
