SEP 14, 17 .. HEALTH .. MONEY .. THE GUTS TO DO WHAT YOU ARE CALLED TO DO
This is the second of two Posts I am publishing on September 14, 2017.
I am not in favor of any profanity on my website here. After all, girls and young boys, women, children and innocents may happen upon it and I don’t want to shock anyone with bad, or vulgar, language.
But in terms of medical stuff.. I would tend to think in terms of saying..
The #$F’g@%* medical stuff.
Once the #$F’g@%* medical octopus wraps its tentacles around you, it wants to totally dominate and dictate to you all of your plans forever and, oh-by-the-way, to take all of your money.
Tests and more tests. Appointments and more appointments.
The #$F’g@%* medical stuff never seems to end.
For the past week or so, the current phase of our entire trip to date has been dependent upon one factor..
Monday, September 18th .. Medical appointments in the greater Detroit, Michigan, area.
I said to Patti yesterday..
“I don’t know about you My Dear One but.. I am not yet ready to close out this phase of our travels and go to Detroit just because of some #$F’g@%* medical appointments.“
Today’s Rhetorical Statement : Yes OH YES.
Not one single one of us is getting out of this life alive. Sooner or later, the #$F’g@%* medical octopus will get you. There is no fighting this fact unless you outsmart the #$F’g@%* medical octopus and you just go to sleep one evening or afternoon and ‘check out’ in your sleep.
So?
Yesterday, and it took both Patti and I about two (as in 2 ) full hours to accomplish this seemingly simple event, we moved our Monday, September 18th, medical appointments in Detroit, back one full week to Monday, September the 25th.
So?
We are now free to spend another week or so..
On the Road..

Well. I’m confused. It seems like everywhere you go, you make medical appointments. Why is that? Whenever you’re on the West Coast, whenever you’re in Anchorage, whenever you’re in Hong Kong? Are you enabling the octopi, Cap?
No Gullible I am not enabling the octopi BUT.. As I wrote.. Not one of us gets out of here alive. I DO have some real, honest, legitimate, physical concerns and issues that, in my opinion, MUST be dealt with. And I DO have some excellent health care providers. AND there are indeed lawyers ‘out there’ willing to sue doctors so doctors MUST protect themselves by going to any length and going ‘overboard’ to care for their patients. So appointments lead to future appointments and those appointments lead to ever more appointments.
Some months ago I wrote about wondering IF I had a TIA. I did NOT seek out the medical community. And here I am, still alive and well. THAT, calling in the medical team, would have enabled them to go crazy exploring a possible TIA.

Well, I’ve had two TIAs. Scan for one revealed a possible prior TIA. Take a baby aspirin a day. And that was the extent of that.
I’ve been on the baby aspirin regimen for some many years now dating to April of 2007. Thanks Gullible.
