OCT 21, 17 .. UPDATE ON PATTI’S BRONCHITIS.. A VISIT TO THE DETROIT ZOO

We saw Patti’s doctor yesterday morning, Friday the 20th, at 9am.

She is now off all antibiotics.

Until this appointment, Patti has believed (based on her Anchorage doctor’s formal written prognosis) that she has COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).

I told Patti’s doctor that Patti had COPD. This was news to her doctor.

Her doctor here in Royal Oak then asked Patti if she has ever been formally tested for COPD. Patti replied, “No.”

Patti was then tested using a device into which she deeply inhaled and then exhaled to her maximum. The results of three cycles concluded that Patti’s lung function is almost normal and that she DOES NOT have COPD.

Her current regimen is : Claritin-D (loratidine) once daily. Advair Diskus (a bronchodilator inhaler) two times daily.

So?

The ‘ jury remains sequestered ‘ as to what it is Patti is experiencing.

We all know this fact : Our doctors are all practicing medicine.

To celebrate Patti NOT having COPD, we visited the Detroit Zoo.

Patti, our navigator, immediately went-to-work studying the map of the Detroit Zoo.

“Gullible. Yo Gullible. Have we your attention?”

Our first visit was to see the Penguins.

Our second stop was to visit the butterfly conservatory.

Off we go for a stroll in the Detroit Zoo.

So?

There you have it. Just a small peek at the wonderful Detroit Zoo.
