OCT 26, 17 .. MACKINAC ISLAND MICHIGAN .. A POST ON BLOGSPOT

After being very inactive on my blogspot website, I put up a new Post yesterday about Mackinac Island. Below is a link to it.

I am really going to try to write and publish more posts over on blogspot and to do so in the next few days. I don’t want my blogspot site to die-on-the-vine.

It is so nice to have Gullible back with us from her recent trip. Patti and I will look forward to seeing Gullible’s Posts that are now forthcoming.

Patti and I are certainly NOT just sitting doing nothing.

Today was an odd day. We were up and out of the house at 6:45am this early (for Patti especially) morning. We were at our meeting ten minutes early. The keeper of the key to the room did not show up. So at 7:10am we left to go to another meeting that began at 7am in a neighboring city. We got to the location of the other meeting and then learned that it had moved to another room in the church. We could NOT find the new meeting room location. Finally (an Act of God?) a church maintenance employee that I just happened to stumble upon in the dark helped us find the new meeting location so in we walked at 7:35am (somewhat late for a 7am meeting).

The room was full. Each and every single chair was occupied. A young lady got up from her chair to allow Patti to sit and she (the young lady) sat on the floor in the center of the room. Across the room a young man got up and offered me his chair. I declined. I am with Patti and that is that. Then an elderly man got up from his seat next to the now sitting Patti and gave me that seat. He then walked across the room to the empty seat the young man (who was now sitting in the middle of the circle on the floor with the above young lady) had surrendered for me.

We got home about 8:30am. We both went back to bed. I slept until 10am. Patti slept past 12 noon.
