THAT’S A MOTOR HOME MATE !
Patti and I were driving here in Anchorage the other day when we came upon the most amazing, gargantuan motor home that either of us have ever seen.
Sad-to-say, I did NOT have a camera with me. I know better and still, from time to time, I go out without a camera. For me, there is never a good reason not to have a camera with me.
So?
So I told Patti that I was going to go back later, with a camera, and shoot a photo or two of the motor home.
And?
I did just that.
That is a full size automobile parked beside the monster motor home in the below photo.
A few photos taken yesterday during our day.
We paid a visit to the local Alaska Airlines Arena.
We stopped by Goose Lake to check it out. The lake was frozen solid.
We went by one of our local parks.
Lord love a duck.
The Cuddy Family Park has an olympic quality speed skating oval that is professionally maintained.
The sun is where the sun is. When you must face the sun to get your photo it is a real challenge.
It is far easier (below photo) to shoot with the sun at your back.
The Anchorage Log Cabin Visitor’s Center downtown on 4th Avenue is a real favorite.
It’s been ‘years’ since Patti has visited and I had never ever been inside.
We saw the Twisted Sister’ Quilty Pleasures and we thought of our friend Ginny who loves to sew.
“Patti?” .. “Yes Cap?” ..
“Are you hungry?” .. “Yes I could eat.”
