JAN 7, 19 .. MERRY ORTHODOX CHRISTMAS DAY GREETINGS FROM KRASNOYARSK, RUSSIAN SIBERIA

The above title says it all :

MERRY ORTHODOX CHRISTMAS DAY ..

GREETINGS FROM KRASNOYARSK, RUSSIAN SIBERIA.

I have to giggle at ‘spell check’. I just mis-spelled Krasnoyarsk and ‘spell check’ nailed me! Amazing it can check out a Russian name to see if it is correctly spelled.

A Promise Made IS A Debt Unpaid.

Day before yesterday, January 5th, I was writing a Post on blogspot and suddenly Mike came into my room and said a car was picking us up in 30-minutes. I  had to drop everything BUT I published the abbreviated Post and said I would finish writing it later.

A Promise Made IS A Debt Unpaid. The below link will take you to the now finished Post on blogspot.

As I was working on finishing the above Post, my mind kept telling me that I was wasting my time  and that no one was going to go back and re-read it. I told my mind that I was doing it for myself because I said that I was going to finish the Post and did.

Today was a nice, quiet day for me. I got a lot done because I pretty well knew that on this HIGH CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY  all of my Russian friends would be spending time with their families. Odd huh? In the U.S. on our major holidays our U.S. fellowship is alive and well with many meetings going on almost around the clock. People, at least in the U.S., it seems like to go to meetings on these holidays as well as then spending time with their families.

Below is a photo of my mega supermarket. IF you look really carefully, in the very lower left on ground level behind the white automobiles, you can see the restaurant Mike and I ate in the other day.

The below photo may help you to spot the restaurant in the above photo.

A close-up look at the mega shopping center’s name.

Well it’s time to call this post a ‘wrap’.

Smiles from Cap and Hugs from Patti

As I had told you on the phone, earlier today I had already gone back and read your update and finishing of the post on blogspot about your restaurant. Seeing the above dot net post, I now know what you meant when you said you walked out of the supermarket and right into the restaurant. You say you had a quiet Russian Christmas Day .. I think you were ready for a quiet day! Hugs. Patti
