FEB 24, 19 (Part 1 of 2) .. PATTI BEGINS TO ‘SETTLE INTO HER NOOK’ HERE IN IRKUTSK RUSSIAN SIBERIA

A quick memory-refresher for you as to where Irkutsk is.

This IS fun. All of you, who’ve been following along here, have visited Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk with me this past January 2019.

Now in her second day here, Patti is settling-in.

Below are photos showing a look at one corner of our flat here in Irkutsk. Patti calls it her ‘nook’.

When you walk into our flat, you see the below large couch / hide-a-bed. This is where I sleep. To the right below is the corner of my desk where I do all of my on-line and other computer activities.

Now visualize you are sitting on the left end (as you look at it above) of the couch / hide-a-bed. As you look straight ahead you see the below view of the other side of our flat.

To the right above is the hallway that leads to the entrance / exit of the flat. To the left above you have a separate area. This ‘nook’ is Patti’s home-away-from-home here in Irkutsk.

Below we ‘pan’ left from the above view. If she so wishes, Patti can pull the curtains for privacy.

Patti is sleeping on the couch / bed as you see it above. IF she wants a larger bed, then she has one.

So far she is very happy with her ‘nook’ here in Irktusk.

Quiet now!  We don’t want to disturb Patti. She is fast asleep!
