APR 4, 19 .. SLYUDYANKA* / СЛЮДЯНКА* .. A WEEKEND TRIP COMING UP

Before I get to our upcoming trip to SLYUDYANKA / СЛЮДЯНКА*..

*How is this for one fine name?! 

Dad !! It’s all I have !  /s/  SLYUDYANKA / СЛЮДЯНКА

Day after tomorrow, Saturday the 6th, Patti and I are going to take a short trip south of Irkutsk. We have been invited to speak at a noon meeting on Saturday in SLYUDYANKA / СЛЮДЯНКА.

This is one wonderful opportunity for Patti to see, for the very first time in her life, Lake Baikal (the right red balloon above ). We plan to leave our apartment here in Irkutsk at 9am Saturday to speak at a 12 noon meeting. Then we have been invited to stay in SLYUDYANKA / СЛЮДЯНКА over the weekend into Monday. Who knows what adventures await us. Maybe a train ride around part of Lake Baikal.

And this most amazing of journeys continues to roll on and on.
