Just look at who came walking and singing along this evening out on the Angara River Walk .

They seemed to be in the greatest of moods.

Just looking at the above photos makes me feel happy.

    Yep. Hare Krishna, a offspring cult of Hinduism. I visited the construction site of what will be the largest Hare Krishna complex in the world. It is located on the Ganga in Mayapur. Donation boxes EVERYWHERE!!! Rather than feeling peaceful while I was there, I just felt like they were after every penny in my pocket.

      Here they were not in any manner soliciting. I have seen them in Irkutsk before but not beside the Angara River. They just went past, circled around and returned on another inside path off the river. You are correct in that usually they are after donations. Yes indeed, Krishna is of course a prominent Hindu Deity.
