AUG 16, 19 .. PART 2 OF 2 PARTS .. MY HOTEL IN BAYKALSK RUSSIAN SIBERIA
Below is a map showing where Baykalsk is relative to Irkutsk. It took us three hours to drive down here.
I remain unable to access Wi-Fi in my hotel room but am able to do so here in the front office of the hotel with the help of Sergey from Novosibrisk and his smart-phone and its hot-spot.
That is NOT Sergey from Novosibrisk in the below photo. It is Sergey from Irkutsk. A third Sergey (from Irkutsk) drove the five of us down here to Baykalsk and a fourth Sergey (also from Irkustk) is a close friend and one of my translators here.
Here we go with some photos of my hotel here in Baykalsk. The Yut Hotel. Notice the beautiful early Autumn day here.

To get to my room, I have to go up these stairs.
Then down these stairs on the other side of the above stairs. I don’t understand this design but what can I say..

I brought with me in our van some water / juice / cereal / peanut butter / bread / snickers bars.
It was a great move to have this supply with me. We hit the ground running and are no where near a store. I was covered by having brought these liquids and food.

Smart, smart, smart of you to take the liquids and food with you. Usually you have to go in search of water right away, and you say you are nowhere near a store here. Looks like a comfortable room. I had to smile about all of the four Sergeys surrounding you! Hugs!! Patti
Oh yes! I would have been in somewhat dire straits had I not taken, not only plenty of water and juice, but peanut butter and bread as an instant snack. We drove to a store this Saturday afternoon and I purchased more water. Lots and lots of Sergeys. A fifth Sergey from Ulan-Ude sent his regards to me with Ivan. I did not remember him until Ivan showed me his photo! I stayed three days with this Ulan-Ude Sergey in early August 2017!
My room is comfortable. Much Love .. Cap

Two days out of the three were beautiful. Saturday, the in-between day, it rained all day with several brief periods when it was not raining. Friday and Sunday were picture perfect Autumn Days. Thanks for your support Web Master. Smiles .. Cap
glad you were able to make the convention.As I recall,prior to heading out to the Conference,the weather was possibly to rainy to make the drive.Next weekend here in NV-we will attend the AZ State Conf.-which is being held @ the Riverside Hotel here in Laughlin
