NOV 3, 19 .. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH .. A NICE DINNER

This has been an extremely busy and active weekend for yours truly and for Patti (especially today) back home in Anchorage. So as was the case yesterday, this will be a relatively short post.

Below are photos that I snapped while enjoying a most pleasant dinner last night with two friends here in Ulaanbaatar.

This was my third visit to this Chinese restaurant that is located very close to my apartment.

In the next five photos, you can see where Mr. Ling’s Asian Fusian Restaurant is located relative to my Nomin Supermarket. Focus your attention upon The Royal Hotel.

Now we will begin to ‘move to the right’.

Mr. Ling’s Asian Fusion is the white building immediately to the right of the Royal Hotel.

Below is a little closer look at Mr. Ling’s. Note it is spelled in the singular, Mr. Ling.

I opted not to do a photo shoot of the interior of Mr. Ling’s. Suffice it to say it is very pleasant and the service is exceptional.

Below is the meal (mini-feast) my two friends and I enjoyed.

My entree was the sliced beef salad you see at the bottom of the above and below photos.

This is the third time that I have enjoyed this wonderful, to-die-for, salad.

I’m sitting here smiling as I think back on last night’s dinner at Mr. Ling’s.

By the way, my sliced beef salad cost U.S. $3.72 (10,000 Mongolian Tughrik).

Our total bill for our three entrees along with white rice and tea was U.S. $11.16 (30,000 Mongolian Tughrik).

Amazing!

Nice to now be able to picture Mr. Ling (no apostrophe) Asian Fusion Restaurant. The food (presentation and quantity) is impressive and you said the service is also great. Seems like a really good find, and, close to home! Smiles and love, Patti
