FEB 12, 20 .. ORANGES ANYONE? .. MAYO CLINIC UPDATE
Our best friends here in the greater Phoenix metro area have an amazing garden in front of and in back of their home. In and amongst the cacti they have an orange tree they planted some 30 years ago.
Will you just take a look below at what they gave to us during our visit the other day!
Right off the tree. Words cannot describe how fresh and good they taste. Never ever in my lifetime have I tasted such amazing oranges.

This morning Patti and I were up at 5:30am and out the door at 6:15am heading to the Mayo Clinic for Patti’s pulmonary function tests. We were on time arriving at 6:50am for her 7am check in. I was not with Patti during the series of various pulmonary ( lung ) tests. Patti was very happy when she came out to the waiting room to join me and she felt the procedure was very complete.
Now we await the medical evaluation of the tests as they relate to Patti’s issues with bronchitis in general and Patti’s recent coughing episodes.
We are now due to return to the Mayo Clinic on May 1st to have the second Barrett’s esophagus procedure performed.
After her appointment we really enjoyed breakfast at a local IHOP.
Night temperatures in the 40’s and daytime in the low 70’s. Amazing and pleasant.
