MAR 26, 20 .. MOVING DAY HERE IN LOMPOC, CALIFORNIA

One of the major factors that caused Patti and I to visit Lompoc, California, was for Patti to see one of her brothers who has lived here for several years and who is now moving back to Northern California. We arrived here on March the 6th and each and every day, some days several times, one of us or both of us visited her brother. Our visits have been an important part of our days.

Today, Thursday the 26th of March, was ‘Moving Day’. Patti’s brother rented a U-Haul Truck and hired a pair of professional moving men to load it. Her other brother came to Lompoc to assist in the loading of the truck and to accompany his Lompoc brother on the way North.

Looking up the street you can see the U-Haul Truck.

Coming closer to the ‘action’.

When it was loaded, and all the items in his home that were ‘going North’ were aboard, the time had come to ‘head North’. On the way out of Lompoc her brothers stopped at our motel for a last goodbye.

Our final goodbye was a most poignant moment. At our ages, we have no idea of when we will see one another again.

Thanks Gullible for your comment. As to staying secluded, we are doing our best to avoid crowds BUT some life activities must go forward such as grocery shopping. Smiles and Hugs Cap and Patti
