JUN 9, 20 .. CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN .. A SECOND ‘SMART PHONE’?
Let’s all go back to last September the 25th 2019.
That would be 8-1/2 months ago.
My life was about to change as I suddenly (and finally?) joined (what seems like) the majority of humanity in ‘the fast lane’ of Information Technology as it relates to cell phones.
I purchased my very first ever ‘smart phone’, a SAMSUNG Galaxy A10.
In the below photo, the date is September the 27th. I did not take any photos on the day I purchased my SAMSUNG Galaxy A10.

Look what arrived here today via FedEx.
A SAMSUNG Galaxy A10e ‘smart phone’.
SAMSUNG Galaxy A10e already has twenty ‘apps’ (applications).

TODAY’S RHETORICAL QUESTION : Why two ‘smart phones’?
THE CLASSIC ANSWER : Why not?
A realistic answer : SAMSUNG A10 does not have a SIM card and so is not able to make telephone calls (except on WhatsApp to Russia and Hong Kong to name two locations I want to be in-touch-with). Having purchased SAMSUNG A10 in Mongolia, getting him a SIM card in the United States is a challenge.
I plan to install a SIM card into SAMSUNG A10e thus he will become my number one cell phone. I will be able to accomplish this because SAMSUNG A10e is a Tracfone (with whom we’ve been associated for a fair number of years) product. By the way, SAMSUNG A10e already has a working WhatsApp that I installed today and I have already used his ‘app’ to speak (by video no less) with a friend in Hong Kong.
Let me emphasize this : It sure helped having a full 8-1/2 months of experience with SAMSUNG A10 (and the Android operating system) as I began to ‘set up’ SAMSUNG A10e!
HAPPINESS IS : DIFFERENT THINGS ON DIFFERENT STAGES OF LIFE.
Guess what? Patti can turn on both ‘smart phones’, go to their home pages, select ‘apps’ and accomplish a fair number of tasks on the internet. Now THAT’S IMPRESSIVE.
