JUN 13, 20 .. SUMMER 2020 .. PATTI LOVES HER FLOWERS .. PART 8 (THE FINAL PART)

Ah such is life! You snap your fingers and two weeks (PART 7 was JUN 1 and here PART 8 is JUN 13) have passed just-like-that! 

Because we did not state in PART 7 that it was the final Post of this series of Posts, several of Patti’s friends wanted to know if Patti was finished with her basic flower planting for the summer of 2020.

So?

So The Time Has Come to wrap-up this series of Posts showing Patti’s Summer of 2020 flowers. 

In PART 7, Patti placed flowers into her hanging planter.

At Day’s End, the hanging planter looked as you see it below.

I’ll never know IF my comment (“Patti, it doesn’t look finished to me. None of your other planters have so many open spaces amongst their flowers.”) had anything to do with Patti’s plans.

This I do know : As you will see below (in my humble opinion at least) Patti has now completed her hanging planter!

Wowie!

Just look below at the very full hanging planter and you will see what I meant in my above comment to Patti about so many open spaces amongst the flowers.

HERE COME PATTI’S MARIGOLDS !

In the first photo below (on the left and the right) you see Patti’s newly purchased Marigolds about to join the others.

ONWARD YOU MARIGOLDS !

In the above two photos, it looked to me like Patti was finished and admiring her Marigolds but NO NO NO, as you see below, she was not finished.

In the following photos, you can see that Patti has sprinkled Marigolds throughout her other flower planters.

VOILA .. OUR LIVING ROOM PORCH .. IT’S A DONE-DEAL

What a magnificent job Patti has accomplished. But the work continues on a daily basis. Watering and tending to her flowers (dead-heading them etc).

P.S. from Patti :  Cap had a LOT to do with this project .. shopping with me and loading plants into the truck, bringing plants to the back porch, moving planters that were already heavy with soil, lifting things back and forth, AND encouraging me EVERY step of the way!!  It was definitely a team project, and, so is the daily enjoyment of them now!!
