OCT 12, 20 .. TODAY’S DOCTOR / MEDICAL APPOINTMENT .. MY SHOULDER
As many of you know, on Sunday the 27th of September, I fell outside of our cabin up in Manley Hot Springs, Alaska.
For the past few days I have been posting (increasingly) optimistic reports about how my right arm / elbow / shoulder have been progressing. It has seemed to me that each and every single day (now two weeks since my fall) they have been feeling better and moving more freely with less-and-less pain and discomfort.
BUT ..
I guess because of Covid-19 and its demands upon the medical community, I had not been able to get an appointment to see a doctor / medical professional until this morning.
And ..
I have been afraid to be too optimistic until I had an apppointment.
Bottom Line ..
I got-away-with-it.
My Doctor began with X-Rays saying he would not order an MRI until after he studied a series of X-Rays of my right elbow and right shoulder. I am happy to inform all of you that my intuitive feelings that I was progressing satisfactorily were spot-on 100% accurate. Both my right elbow and my right shoulder look great. Yes. I still have discomfort issues and somewhat limited range-of-motion issues, but I have absoutely no serious issues.
YES ..
I am going to undergo a regimen of physical therapy (P.T.) beginning a week from next Thursday (that being the 22nd of October) at 8:15am. We will go-from-there as to what I need to accomplish and the duration of the physical therapy. It could be from 6 to 8 weeks, twice a week. Yes (I have already begun) I am going to (daily or twice daily) check for cancellations to move the P.T. forward if I am able to do so.

So far SO ALL-LOOKS-GOOD Danny. Thanks. Cap
Good news. If it’s like most PT, you can do it yourself after the first or second session.
You are absolutely 100% correct. Get the basics and go to work at home. I am interested in things NOT TO DO. Right now sudden movements are a NO NO. Thanks Gullible. Cap
