Moving .. even from one hotel to another .. sure can be a chore! BUT one good thing is that each move shakes something different out.
April 16th .. I SHOULD HOLD A CONTEST .. I explained to GULLIBLE and to ‘ZILLA some of the ‘whys’ about sleeping on-top-of-the-covers .. be it on-the-road or at-home.
At the Raahat Inn my bed was a King Sized bed. It was perfect for me to sleep-on-top-of the bedding because it is a CHORE to have to ‘make up’ a King Sized bed every single day. So the pay-off to sleeping on-top-of-the-bedding was real and tangible and a time-saver.
But now at the Methodist Centre this does NOT apply. I have a twin-sized bed and I can easily sleep under-the-covers and quickly make the bed in the morning.
So this is my ‘modus operandi’ at the Methodist Centre. Sleeping ‘normally’ in my twin bed.
Here is a dead-on photo of my Internet Cafe.
I have a friend whose ‘sirname’ is Darling. How on earth could I NOT snap the below photo and e-mail it to him. He LOVED it!
The modest and small HOTEL DARLING is NOT .. the Methodist Centre ..
The modest and small HOTEL DARLING is NOT .. the Raahat Inn ..
But it is what it is .. real India ‘For-The-People’.
AND .. SPEAKING-OF-THE-RAAHAT-INN .. I got-to-know many of the staff during my almost three-week stay. Today I ‘ran-into’ two of them and we had a nice visit. The man in the first two photos below was a ‘floor man’ and kept things ‘tidy’.
Do any of you perhaps notice anything? I know .. not fair! How am I to expect you to know that the temperature is about 70 F! Notice then that he is wearing a heavy sweater!
Just like our friend from yesterday! C’MON YOU GUYS! I know you love the heat but it’s 70 F?
And the lovely lady below was also on the housekeeping staff at the Raahat Inn and I also ‘got-to-know’ her a little. In my opinion she is an elegant lady!
OK .. for today .. That’s All Folks .. Cap
- MY CHOPSTICK CAPER !
- OFF FOR OOTY ..
