DEC 4, 21 .. HOW CAN THIS BE ??

Patti and I came South to Nevada, and eventually Arizona, for two separate reasons.

First to get away from the long Alaskan Winter months.

Second, Patti requires medical attention (Radiofrequency Ablation to treat Patti’s Barrett’s Esophagus (pre-cancerous) Condition) that is simply not available in the State of Alaska. As a result, dating back to January 31st 2020, we have chosen to get Patti’s medical treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix.

The weather where we are is close to perfect. No snow. No ice. Temperatures in the mid-70s. Clear blue skies. Around five additional hours of daylight more than in Alaska each day. 

How Can This Be ??

Our bodies are so conditioned to the cold (sub zero conditions in Alaska on some days) that we find ourselves running the air conditioning in our hotel room to cool us down !!

How Can This Be ??

What do you do when a trusted friend, a trusted source of information, is advising you to do something that every fiber in your body is telling you : NO DON’T DO THIS !

But, But, But ?? Do any of you know this feeling ? I sure do !!

Post Script : Patti and I are sending out Christmas Cards. We don’t plan to be back in Alaska until late April. We have no mailing address down here. So please don’t worry about sending us Christmas Cards.
