For What It’s Worth, I snapped a few photos showing the price of gasoline over in the neighboring state of California when we drove up to Laughlin, Nevada, to retrieve Black Beauty our stolen GMC Suburban.

Post Script : Nope no further news as I am finished discussing my recent Diverticulitis Flare Up. Yes I still feel (shot at and missed .. shat at and hit) weak and weary after a full week and two days of blast dirarrhea due to the anti-biotics prescribed me in the Emergency Room on the 31st of December. Today I took a 1.4 mile walk just to get out. En route, I stopped at our local Burger King and chowed down on two B.K. $1 Rodeo mini-burgers. Yum. Yum.

Hmm, just a few days ago we were talking about my craving a big juicy steak (and cooked a filet mignon steak to boot!). Perhaps coincidence? Or, power of suggestion? lol Regardless, your body was telling you it needed protein of the beef variety! Then again, walking as you did surely set you up for being taken captive to the aromas of cooking burgers that waft through our restaurant row joints! Me thinks they probably put a huge fan on their rooftops and pump those satiating odors to ‘hook’ us! hee hee, ha-ha, Ho-ho!!
Yes Indeed Michael. As Patti will attest, once in awhile I DO get hungry for some beef and that will usually manifest itself with Burger King Double Whopper and sometimes, once in awhile, two Whoppers. It’s been years since I’ve had an actual steak. Thanks for your following along here and for your comment. Cap
Cap, try a Dave’s burger at Wendy’s. Only fast food burger I will eat. They are delicious.
O.K. Gullible. WE WILL put-it-on-our-to-do-list. A Dave’s Burger at Wendy’s. The only Wendy’s here is about 20 miles (25 minutes) from our motel in Lake Havasu City. So it will await our next road trip to Laughlin, Nevada.
My favorite gas station here in the Bay Area is still at $4.55 since a month and a half ago, $1 less than there.
Go figure huh? Obviously Big Oil can demand, and get, the price it wants in some places. Happy to get your input Robert. Cap.
