December 7th 1941, The Day Of Infamy, the bombing of Pearl Harbor on the Island of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands.

Below is a link to a Library of Congress article about the raid on Pearl Harbor.

I was age 5 years and 3 months OH BUT I remember that evening overhearing on the radio in our living room Walter Winchell and his famous phrase ..

‘Good Evening Mr. and Mrs. America and All the Ships at Sea …

Little did I know at the time that older brothers and other relatives of my closest kindergarden friends served in the United States Military Service during World War II.

In honor of all who have served our country.

By the way I published Part 4 of a series of Posts on blogspot about our visit to Manley Hot Springs last September 10th to 29th.

    Dear Cap,
I know too little about the events you’ve described above and I absolutely share your idea to honour those who served and serves a country and it’s people.
But my special thanks for the truth I saw in this page about illness turning into wellness…. Cap, I know you’re blessed! I’m absolutely “pro”!
I guess for being such a great union with Patti you both have lots of amazing ideas to share!
