December 7th 1941, The Day Of Infamy, the bombing of Pearl Harbor on the Island of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands.

I was age 5 years and 3 months OH BUT I remember that evening overhearing on the radio in our living room Walter Winchell and his famous phrase ..
‘Good Evening Mr. and Mrs. America and All the Ships at Sea …
Little did I know at the time that older brothers and other relatives of my closest kindergarden friends served in the United States Military Service during World War II.

I know too little about the events you’ve described above and I absolutely share your idea to honour those who served and serves a country and it’s people.
