JUL 21, 21 .. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH

Once upon a time, it was back in year 2000 (I think but am not 100% positive) I lost an avid reader Doug Shaw (one of my very best friends until he passed away a few years ago) who ‘took me to task’ for writing-about-writing saying : I don’t want to read about your writing endeavors I want to read and see new and interesting thoughts and photographs of (where I was back in 2000) India.

In my recent several Posts dated JULY 11th, 15th and 16th, I am actually writing about going through my process to jump-start myself.

Julia Cameron wrote the following thoughts on Page 223 of her amazing book .. ‘The Right To Write’ .. Thank You once again Brad 49885 for the gift to me of her book ..

“When we start to write, we prime the pump and the flow of ideas begins to move. It is the act of writing that calls ideas forth, not ideas that call forward writing.”

So the action of me just writing about my slump has in itself resulted in new posts here on dot.net and over on blogspot.

Until last Saturday, I had not posted one single Post on blogspot for the month of July. Now I have published two with more to come (I hope and plan) this month. 

Then Jeremy, a good friend in Hong Kong, sent me the below image on WhatsApp.

So I am also going to publish it as a tid-bit (I have not thought of a name for them, any ideas anyone?) like the below ..

The above tid-bit (maybe call them Fun Tid-Bits) certainly ‘dates you’ IF you (as do Patti and me) vividly recall our own mothers doing this. I absolutely hated it.
