NOV 17, 21 .. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH
Two short weeks from now, we will, God Be Willing, settled in Laughlin, Nevada, after flying from Anchorage to Las Vegas on Tuesday the 30th of November and riding with Detroit Tiger Tom from the Las Vegas airport down to Laughlin where we will stay for one full week enjoying some sun and longer-than-in-Alaska days.
Then out and off for Phoenix. We may stop in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, to visit a close friend but this is uncertain as we write here due to his plans.
FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
We so miss our friends over in Russian Siberia BUT we remain actively in-touch with them.
Our friend in Chita awaiting transportation because a highway section that sank due to heavy snowfall prevented her from proceeding further by bus. She is checking her students homework hoping that by evening she’ll be able to continue her journey.
From Irkutsk, looks just like here in Anchorage !

What’s up with the trip to Arizona? Snowbirding it?
Yes and No. Basically we have more Mayo Clinic appointments in Phoenix and, Oh By The Way, when finised we will then become sun birds,following the sun and not birds running from the snow. Plan to stay into April maybe early May. First we have to get there. Travel is becoming more difficult as we age. YOUR current Africa Journals are absolutely amazing. Cap and Patti
