Was the two of us deciding to stay here in Arizona for an extra month a smart decision?
The three photos taken yesterday makes our decision look pretty good.
Sunny and warm. Oh My Oh My! Just feast your eyes on these two photos.
In the above photo, it is difficult to see, the American Flag is feeling the effect of some steady and fairly stiff breezes.
Below you can see it better.
The wind blew, without ceasing, all day long. Of all the types of weather, Patti dislikes the wind the most.
Staying put here in Arizona sure looks like one great decision.
We are also enjoying our time with Tom and Ginny.

- MAR 29, 23 .. THANKS FOR YOUR PHOTOS .. MICHAEL, KATHLEEN, KIT, RAY / LARRY and THOR
I’m with Patti. I don’t like wind either. No matter what the temperature.
Add to the wind some cold moisture and you have “wind chill” that can cut right through you. Patti
I’m glad to hear you are staying longer. I was thinking you were a “bit daft” to be heading back to Alaska with all that snow when you could feel nice warm sunshine on your face (although the reasons you weren’t going to change your plans made perfect sense.) Glad to hear all the dominoes fell into place and you can stay warm a bit longer.
Thanks Kathleen. Yep ! If we were to extend our time in Lake Havasu City, we had to have a place to stay. We were not willing to move back into a motel and pay for staying there when we are already paying for our Condo up in Anchorage and our apartment in Lake Havasu City. When we learned we could simply “stay put” in our apartment, coupled with Alaska Airlines working so nicely with us, it was a “no brainer” to extend to April the 28th. Cap
