COVID-19! .. WHEN DOES IT GET EASY?
Patti and I have taken all of the Covid-19 precautionary measures. We each have received the basic inoculations and every single booster shot that has been available.
Saturday May 6th 2023
I did not know this, but late yesterday evening Patti had a sore throat. This morning Patti was not feeling well and had a fever and other symptoms. So Patti did a home-test for Covid. As you can see below, it was POSITIVE.
We headed for our local Emergency Room and Patti had the home-test confirmed that she IS Covid-19 POSITIVE. All of her vitals were fine. Her lungs are clear. But she is coughing again. The E.R. Doctor was (a surprise to me) absolutely adamant saying NO NO NO to Paxlovid saying there is (1) no proof it will work for the current Covid variant and (2) there is a long list of medications Paxlovid may interact with, and in some cases, doctors may not prescribe Paxlovid because these interactions may cause serious complications.
Patti slept all day into this evening when she got up and drank some Gatorade and ate a food bar and went back to bed.
I home-tested Covid NEGATIVE late this afternoon.
Bottom line. We will stay home and not mix with the public. Other than being totally washed out and exhausted with little energy, Patti is not feeling all that bad in that she has no pain or other discomfort.
We’re waiting for life to get easy. Taint happening.
Our great friend and Ally Michael, down in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, yesterday also tested positive for Covid. We’ve done a lot of texting back and forth today!

Oh, no. Not again. How many times is this? Here’s hoping you don’t get sick too so you can take care of Patti.
Why does that pizza look so red? Is there no cheese on it? Or have you drowned it in red pepper flakes?

This is the third (3rd) Covid “go around” for Patti. So far so good in that I have tested negative a second day. That Pizza was loaded with cheese Gullible. It is hidden under the tomato sauce. Thanks for your comment. Cap and Patti
