Tomorrow morning at 6AM I will .. God Willing .. Be on the Shatabdi Express train heading South from New Delhi to Agra Cantt. Odd how things work out! My original plan for this week was the trip to Puri and back to Agra Cantt and then New Delhi. I am happy this did not work out. It has been nice to just be settled here in New Delhi and not running around India in the\u00a0HEAT!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I find it interesting .. in the below map .. to note the surrounding countries! Would it be an understatement for me to note that I am quite close to some .. dare I say .. hot spots in the world scene?<\/p>\n\n

In this Post I am going to show you all some ordinary and very mundane yet extremely typical street scenes and some points of interest for me.<\/p>\n

Today’s Rhetorical Question: Do any of you .. by chance .. recognize the below meal?<\/p>\n

Oh Captain can this be? Here you are in India and you have sought out and you have actually found some .. some .. some ..<\/p>\n

YES! SINGAPORE RICE NOODLES! TWO MEALS SHOWN!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Yes! It was very acceptable! Although it was not quite up to the standards of Hong Kong it sure ‘scratched the itch’ for some SRN! So much so that I went back a second time.<\/p>\n

Since September of 2011 when I began to use a cell phone here in India .. The below offices of Vodafone here in New Delhi have become like a home-away-from-home. I can’t overstate how vital and critical it is for me to be-in-touch daily with Patti while here in India. In Hong Kong I am able to be-in-touch with friends worldwide but not so here in India because the Vodafone cell phone plan for international calls is not financially feasible at least for me.<\/p>\n

The office is located in the D Block of Connaught Place facing the E Block which is 180 Degrees behind us in these photos.<\/p>\n

Good people and great service. I keep returning to Vodafone an English based company.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another Rhetorical Question: Does it look to any of you viewing the above and the below photographs that it is somewhere around\u00a0118 Degrees!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(Just like that! I Lost Half this Post .. Photos and text .. Sigh .. Here I go again .. I think that I got dropped from the internet and didn’t know I had been dropped .. Let me tell you the ‘kick-in-the-stomach’ it is to discover you lost your work! .. AS I WALK AROUND THESE SCENES I ASK MYSELF .. “WHO ON EARTH IS BUYING ALL OF THIS STUFF?!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I snapped these two photos from a roof top restaurant three floors up from the street in the HEAT of evening<\/span>. No it was not my Singapore Rice Noodle restaurant.<\/p>\n

IF you go to Alaska in the winter you can ski and do winter sports. IF you come to India in the\u00a0HOT SEASON\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>..you just grin-and-bear-it I guess! My attitude is suffering from the\u00a0heat here in the lobby outside of my room!<\/span><\/p>\n
