I awoke this morning. I had my plan.<\/p>\n
1. First go physically to Ski Dubai<\/em><\/span> in the Mall of the Emirates and confirm my paid-in-full appointment to take a ski lesson tomorrow<\/em><\/span>, Thursday, the 24th of November.<\/p>\n 2. After doing this, meet my friend Albert at 4pm to visit and say our goodbyes since I am flying to Hong Kong this upcoming Friday the 25th.<\/p>\n Then a thought occurred to me.<\/p>\n In going to the Mall of the Emirates, I have to pass the Dubai Mall on the metro. At the Dubai Mall sits The Burj Khalifa.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n “The what\u00a0Captain?” ..<\/p>\n The Burj Khalifa<\/span><\/em> is considered by many tourist professionals to be the number one tourist attraction here in Dubai.<\/p>\n The Burj Khalifa<\/em><\/span> is the tallest building \/ structure in the World.<\/p>\n So I decided that I would check out what it would take to visit the Burj Khalifa.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n I went downstairs here in my hotel to see my friend Ahab, a tour professional with Rayna Tours here in Dubai.<\/p>\n “Ahab do you think that I should visit the Burj Khalifa?<\/em><\/span>“<\/p>\n “Yes! Absolutely for sure Cap.”<\/p>\n “I will see IF I can get you a space. It is usually 100% sold out if you wait until the day you want to go.”<\/p>\n “Good luck Cap. They are 100% sold out from 1pm for the rest of the day. IF you can go prior to 1pm I can get you a space.”<\/p>\n “Set me up for 12-noon Ahab.”<\/p>\n I left my hotel at 10:30am and was\u00a0early to arrive at the Burj Khalifa<\/em><\/span> by 11:35am. I presented my credentials provided by Ahab. Everything was in order.<\/p>\n “Do I have to wait until 12-noon or can I enter now?”<\/p>\n “Go right in now Sir. We hope you enjoy your visit.”<\/p>\n What an experience the Burj Khalifa was!<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n I cannot imagine having missed it.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n I got to Ski Dubai<\/span><\/em> at 2:30pm. Everything is in order for my ski lesson tomorrow.<\/em><\/span> They even have size US 14 ski boots.<\/p>\n I met Albert at 4pm and we had a great one hour visit.<\/p>\n Home to my hotel I came. I ate dinner at the Delhi Restaurant across from my hotel and here I sit writing this Post.<\/p>\n Time to go to my room and get settled for tomorrow.<\/p>\n Call it a day-in-my-life.\u00a0It was a lot busier than I have written above.
