BUT I will now repeat it : To this instant in time, November 11th 2022, in my entire lifetime, the absolutely best single decision I have made was the day (the 29th of January, 1958) that I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. P-E-R-I-O-D ! There have never been any ifs, ands or buts. No qualifications.<\/p>\n

I am proud my father was a member of the United States Coast Guard. After serving over 6 years as an enlisted member of the Marine Corps, I became a Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy Seabees. My eldest son served in the United States Army. My youngest son served in the United States Air Force.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And Patti ?? Patti’s father and her older brother both served in the United States Navy. Her father served during WWII and then was called back to serve in the Korean War. Her brother is a retired veteran.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On Veteran’s Day 2022, both Patti and I solemly pay homage to, and honor, all veterans, living and deceased, who honorably served our county.<\/p>\n
