We are loving all of the interest being shown as a result of our Groundhog Day post last Thursday.

From Kitty in South Dakota ..

Love it Kitty. Absolutely Love it! Thanks for checking in with us!

I had no idea, absolutely no clue, that Groundhog Day is as big as it turns out to be.

We are getting ‘back channel’ (personal emails and text messages) inquiries about our ongoing health challenges.

My status : Unchanged. I remain totally deaf in my left ear. Still some bleeding. Discomfort, disorientation but NO pain. Next Tuesday I have an appointment to see a family Doctor here in Lake Havasu City. I am also (with no success so far) attempting to get into the Mayo Clinic Ear/Nose/Throat department for a consultation with them.

Patti : Patti believes that she has RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection) a viral infection that is going-around. Most people who get an RSV infection will have mild illness and will recover in a week or two. Some people, however, are more likely to develop severe RSV infections and may need to be hospitalized. Our age group (older adults) are considered to have a high risk of more severe symptoms. Patti continues to opt not to go to our local Emergency Room for a consultation.

Thanks so very much for your interest in the two of us. We are deeply touched.
