FRIENDS OF BILL

Recently, a friend here in Lake Havasu City, sent Patti and me the below stunning image via a text message.

For my March 27, 2024, A.A. website Post, I discussed amends based upon this image.

Even if you are not a member, and are not interested in A.A., the message still rings true “as to life in general” and interpersonal relationships with others.

The below link will take you to the Post.

NATIONAL TODAY IS WHAT DAY?

For Michael 86403

In his comment yesterday, Michael wrote in part : I would like to suggest an overlooked Special Day….for me that is A Special Day to be Grateful to be alive! Amen!

I replied to Michael as follows : I will check to see if I can find an official gratitude day. It seems I saw one but all of my betting is confined to the Havasu Landing slot machines. So I won’t bet on it. Smiling.. Cap

Now A Promise Made IS A Debt Unpaid..

Michael, just look what I found ..

World Gratitude Day is celebrated on September 21 annually. This day aims to remind us of the importance of expressing gestures of thanks and appreciation. Understandably, sometimes we can get caught up in our busy lives and neglect to show how grateful we are for the people around us.

March 28th is ..

National Black Forest Cake Day

National Something On A Stick Day .. On March 28th, National Something on a Stick Day, is a food holiday that lets you use your creative talents. Once you get started, the possibilities are endless. Foods that come on a stick are fun and easy to eat.

National Weed Appreciation Day .. On March 28th each year we realize that some weeds are beneficial to us and our ecosystem. Humans have used weeds for food and as herbs for much of recorded history. Some are edible and nutritious, while other weeds have medicinal value.

There you have some of today’s special days.
