August 24 is National Waffle Day.<\/em> <\/span>Pass the syrup! We\u2019ll welcome any occasion to indulge in this iconic international treat. With so many varieties \u2014 Belgium, Hong Kong, stroopwafels, galettes \u2013 to enjoy in countless ways from adding classic toppings like butter and syrup, fruit, and chocolate, to waffle sandwiches. We can\u2019t wait to eat them at every meal.<\/p>\n

Waffles! When I was a child, I used to call them “Waashalles”. Funny what we recall from our early days isn’t it?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The fact is that both Patti and I really enjoy Waffles.<\/p>\n
