ARIZONA HERE WE COME..<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Friday evening, Halloween Day, the 31st of October, here I sit, writing this Post.<\/p>\n

Today, Saturday the 1st of November, Patti and I will be preparing all day to leave our Anchorage Condo at 3am tomorrow (Sunday, November the 2nd) , go to the Anchorage (Ted Stevens) International Airport and at 6am fly South to Seattle.<\/p>\n

IF that is, we are able to leave Anchorage. With the Air Traffic Controllers not being paid because of the government shut down, who knows if indeed we will head South.<\/p>\n

Does even The Shadow Know?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Our Chevrolet Suburban, Mister R. Richardson Richtoffen, is now parked with friends who watch over him during the winter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

NOVEMBER 1 .. GO THE.. EXTRA MILE DAY..<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Extra Mile Day is about the positive impact that we leave on our communities, organizations, and families when we choose to \u201cgo the extra mile\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The phrase \u201cgo the extra mile\u201d is coined from a line in the Bible. Jesus, while giving the Sermon on the Mount, said: \u201cWhosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2011, the Extra Mile America foundation, in conjunction with mayors from 228 United States cities, declared November 1 Extra Mile Day. In 2014, the number of celebrating cities in the United States rose to 527. The dedication of celebrating individuals and organizations towards the Extra Mile initiative each year is overwhelming.<\/p>\n

The Extra Mile Day is meant to motivate people to focus on living a fulfilling life free of limits. The day sheds light on what we can achieve if we harness our potential.<\/p>\n

TO FEEL GOOD? DO GOOD!\u00a0 Few things are as satisfying as exceeding expectations.<\/p>\n
