Hello One.. Hello All.. MARCH 2026 has arrived!!

Hello NATIONAL TODAY.. How nice of you to be with us.

– – – – – – – –

Another “No Brainer” NATIONAL TODAY Holiday for Patti and me!

Both Patti and I love Peanut Butter.

""

Peanut butter is a perfect food.

On March 1, we honor that perfection with National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day.

We like it for every meal. Peanut butter toast for breakfast, peanut butter sandwiches for lunch, peanut sauce for dinner, peanut butter ice cream for dessert.

Did George Washington Carver originate Peanut Butter?

No! George Washington Carver did not invent peanut butter! While often credited with it, he did not create it.

I always thought he did!

When I am out of the country I really count on having Peanut Butter available for instant energy.

Below is a link to a Post here on dotnet dated October the 18th, 2019, about one of my adventures finding Peanut Butter out of the country.

Our little “Stash”!

""

Just a little over a month ago, January 24th, 2026, we had another Peanut Butter Day!!

""

Smiling!!

– – – – – – – –

Two NATIONAL TODAY Holidays of interest to us were grouped together on the NATIONAL TODAY website.

""

Let’s take a look at them.

– – – – – – – –

In light of Patti’s recent fall this past February 2nd, I looked at her fall as a “Self-Injury”. Certainly no other human being assisted her.

As a result, the below NATIONAL TODAY Holiday really captured our attention.

Let’s explore it together.

""

Self-Injury Awareness Day, or SIAD, is a global awareness event celebrated on March 1. It draws attention to self-harm in the hope of helping people who practice it. Almost two million Americans engage in self-harm. About 17% of people will self-harm during their lifetime. People who self-harm say that it gives them a feeling of control and release from tension.

Well you pay your money and you take your chances.

Neither of us are interested in this extremely severe “Mental Illness Issue”.

However! Some one might have an interest in it and so below is a link to the NATIONAL TODAY Holiday website should you want to read more about self-injury.

Share A Smile! This sure looks like a happy and joyous Holiday!

""

Share a Smile Day is observed annually on March 1.

Share A Smile Day that encourages us to be a little bit more joyful. Created in 1997, this day has inspired people to share a smile with everyone they encounter. Smiling doesn’t just only have emotional benefits, it has a lot of health benefits too. It leads you to feel relaxed and happy. This in turn can reduce your blood pressure and stress levels, increase your endurance, and even strengthen your immune system. So if you don’t have a reason to smile, be the reason that someone else smiles and you might be surprised at how quickly you feel like smiling.

TO FEEL GOOD.. DO GOOD..

Below is an “Orchid” that I gifted to our local Bradley Chevrolet Service Department. These Orchids and Onions are published in our local Lake Havasu newspaper.

""

SMILES!! YES!! The staff JUST loved it.

Love the below smile!
