GOOD FRIDAY..<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Good Friday falls on the Friday before Easter.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2026 that is today, Friday April 3rd.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Good Friday commemorates the death of Jesus on Calvary, the site just outside the walls of Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Good Friday is, for many, an intensely personal day of prayer and devotion.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The exact origins of Good Friday are unknown, but the celebration dates back to the 4th century. Did the phrase \u2018God\u2019s Friday\u2019 evolve to \u2018Good Friday’?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus sacrificed his life out of love for his believers and all mankind. His death was the ultimate sacrifice. Despite it being a terrible day in history, the event paved the way for mankind\u2019s salvation, with Jesus being resurrected two days later.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

EARTHQUAKE DAY.. GOOD FRIDAY, MARCH 27th 1964..<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

In the Autumn of 1988, in Royal Oak, Michigan, I met Danny Ziegler<\/span>. We have been close friends from the day we met. In reply to the our March 28th Post, Danny sent Patti and I the below very much appreciated text message..<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We are blessed. Patti was not injured nor killed in the earthquake. What would our lives have been like without Patti? Also, Baden-Wurttemberg is the name of a German State created after the Second World War. The Black Forest, which gave the cake its name, is in Baden, Germany.\u00a0 My Ziegler family is from Wurttemberg. Love to both of you!<\/span><\/p>\n

According to a study published in the journal \u201cGlobal Environmental Change,\u201d the ideal spot for happiness is an outdoor spot near the water when the weather is warm.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
