NOV 13, 18 .. HERE IS MY LOCATION IN IRKUTSK .. FOR MICHIGAN GORD
Yo Gord ..
Below is a photo of the street side of my building.
Below is a photo of the interior side of my building.
I am behind the Hotel Irkutsk .. On the map below you can click onto the – button in the lower right corner to zoom out.
This is my apartment
On the map my building 28 will be to the right after you zoom out one click only on the ( – ) button. Its number 28 is on the right edge of the map. Then you can put your cursor onto the map, left click and hold it down , and then move your mouse to the left and the map itself will also move to allow you to more clearly see my location.
Got it Gord ? ..

- NOV 12, 18 .. IRKUTSK OBLAST
- NOV 14, 18 .. SURELY THERE IS SOMETHING OVER THERE YOU DON’T LIKE CAPTAIN
Thanks for putting this post up for Gord. The directions for moving around on the map worked! You are obviously in a nice, safe neighborhood … they do not put hotels like the one near you in questionable areas! Nice to be able to picture where you are.
As always, in all ways, Thank You My Dear One for your support. Happy to know that my directions on how to navigate the map worked for you. I miss the former map format where I could put up the exact map I wanted to put up and then insert the red balloons. Oh Well : Change is the only constant. Much Love .. Hugs .. Cap
Hello Cap ! Catching up on your posts here with Ginny in Laughlin. You are running hard – make sure you get enough rest ! Hard to find a 24 year old kid driving WITHOUT a smart-phone in their hand ! Since she helped you get moved she seems like a keeper. Hello to ALL friends of Bill there in Siberia – They have friends here in the USA. Be careful, have fun, God Bless. Before I forget, thanks for Post Card mailed Oct. 27 from Mongolia – we got it today 11/13.
Happy you got the post card. There is a second one coming. Look for it. Thanks for letting me know you got it. Smiles and Thanks for your interest and support. Cap
Following along with the adventure, and received my post card today! Love the stamps. Spasiba, Kit
Interesting Kit. Patti also says Spasiba with the ‘a’ sound at the end. Here in Irkutsk they pronounce it Spasibo with the emphasis on the hard ‘o’. They tell me the Spasiba is how they say thank you in Moscow and St. Petersburg. There is a third way and I cannot duplicate it. Smiles .. Cap
