NOV 18, 16 .. DINNER HERE IN RAS AL KHAIMAH
A quiet, a very quiet, low-key day today.
The two below photos were taken from my former room here in the Ras Al Khaimah Hotel. Just beyond the Fine Food Restaurant (Which, by the way, is closed for rennovations) across a small road, you can see a tan colored building.
I have now successfully (Define successfully Captain – I DID NOT GET SICK ) eaten two meals at this small, very quiet, very out-of-the-way restaurant.
Outdoor seating if you so desire.
As you can see, folks do sit outdoors, in the heat.
Note, if you will, the word cafeteria in the above / below photos.
Now we are inside (yes it is air conditioned).
This is it. I see NO cafeteria do you?
Have you ever heard the song that has this line: Where is the chicky in the chicky chow mein? Do any of you see the chicken in my dinner below?
The (above and below) meal you are looking at is Indian Chicken Biriyani. If you are going to get sick, what will make you sick is the ‘curd’ in the small white bowl. It was so good, I ate two bowls of it on both of my visits.
Well Old India Hand that I am, I KNOW from years of eating this, one of my favorite Indian meals, that the chicken is always buried in the fancy, sweet, spicy, rice.
There it is! There is the very good chicken in the Chicken Biriyani!
Twice, two times I have eaten here. Twice, two times I have NOT GOTTEN SICK!
Well? WELL!
That Sports Fans calls for a little celebration.
How about some FIREWORKS on a Friday evening, November the 18th.
That’s all folks. I hope you enjoyed dinner and the fireworks show!

Chicken Biriyani … looks wonderful, makes my mouth water … one of my all time favorites too. And, the fireworks display, especially for you, was a nice touch!! Love, Patti
Glad the Chicken Biriyani looked good to you in the photos in this Post. Loved the fireworks. I shot a lot of photos of them to get the few I posted. I wondered, “What is that noise?” and went to the window and saw them going off. Thanks for looking this Post over. Love .. Cap
