MAY 18, 17 .. LORETTO CHAPEL .. SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO

A friend I met in Los Alamos said to me ..

“Cap you MUST visit the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe before you leave!”

And ?

Thank You ‘Los Alamos’ Dave, for this great suggestion, said with emphasis.

THE LORETTO CHAPEL, SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO

Please notice in the below photo the mention of the MIRACULOUS STAIRWAY.

As you enter the chapel, you see the below writing.

Above I asked you to notice the mention of the MIRACULOUS STAIRWAY.

After you pass the above writing and as you enter the chapel proper, there is a very nice, wooden model of the stairway.

And?

And now I show you the MIRACULOUS STAIRWAY

“No ‘Zilla. I am sorry. I don’t understand the naming of the above and below Miraculous Stairway.”

However, let me tell you, the Loretto Chapel IS MIRACULOUS!

OK. Since we are right here, below are a few photos of ..

The Cathedral Basilica of ST. FRANCIS of ASSISI.

In the far distance below is a statue of St. Francis of Assisi.

St. Francis’ amazing prayer! How nifty I caught the shadow of his hand pointing to his prayer.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.

The Cathedral Basilica was closed. I could not enter. BUT I did sneak these two photos.

“Thanks God for giving me the OK.”

An Art Show on the lawn of the Cathedral Basilica.

With True Humility I sign off ..

Thank you for the visit to the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe … it really IS beautiful, and the stairway truly is miraculous! The art show outside in the park beside the Cathedral Basilica looks fun. Nice that you at least got a “peek” inside the Basilica, and fun that the statue of St. Francis of Assisi pointed out his prayer for you!! Santa Fe resounded very nicely and beautifully with both of us! And now, back on the road again … safe travels … Love, Patti

So happy you liked the Post. Neat St. Francis’ fingers pointed to his special prayer! Oh Yes Santa Fe joins Alamogordo and Roswell as three very special New Mexico locales. Taos is not too far behind the others but Santa Fe sure is tops. Truly ‘I owe’ the visit to the Loretto Chapel to Dave. Love, Cap
