JUN 19, 17 .. I HAVE MISTER LENOVO BACK. HE IS UP AND HE IS WORKING.

A little good news to report to all of you who are following along here with me.

I HAVE MISTER LENOVO BACK / UP / AND WORKING.

I just-now snapped the below photo here at the Genesee District Library in Flushing, Michigan.

“What was wrong with him Cap?” /signed/ Gullible and Patti and many others.

Basically, in a nutshell, nothing much was wrong with Mister Lenovo. I will ask Andrej (to yet again) fully explain to me what Best Buy did to get Mister Lenovo back up and working.

The BIG DEAL was this : There were no virus’s, no malware had been uploaded into him, and there was nothing clandestine and very negative and frightening done to him from outside neer-do-well sources and pirates.

Some critical Windows updates (including SPs) were not installed / or were not installed properly. Mister Lenovo had accumulated a wide myriad of temporary files (clutter) that were removed / deleted and were causing start-up issues. And there were some unnecessary start-up items that were removed / deleted.

Rain? Rain in Flushing / Flint Michigan?

The above photo does NOT capture it adequately. The rain drops were bouncing off Black Beauty’s hood.

As is usual. When updates and other things are done to Mister Lenovo, he becomes just a tad different to work with. Best Buy ‘reformatted’ his screen that I look at. The letters are now much smaller. Things just ‘look different’.

Change Captain IS the only constant. Live With It Captain!

Smiles and Joy.

As for the smaller letters: Hold down the ctrl button and scroll forward with the wheel on your mouse.

Or, you can go into the control panel and adjust the home screen to a larger font.

    Or, have Andrej do it.

The Best Buy Geek Squad did some adjusting. This site was off-line for a day or so. Andrej got it back up a few minutes ago here on Friday the 23rd of June. Smiles. Cap

Glad for you that you have Mr. Lenovo back in your hands, thanks to our UPS buddy who picked it up from Andrej and brought it to you … that’s what Danny (UPS friend) does, pick-up and delivery! Also glad you made it through that rainstorm Saturday night … sounded hairy, raining so hard the wipers could not keep up and cars still speeding by at over 70 mph. Yikes! Take care … love, Patti

I too am so happy to have Mister Lenovo back in my possession. And Danny and I had a great visit also. The drivers are crazy, not only here, but across the entire country. It must be me. Can the entire driving world be crazy? It has to be me. When I hiked my speed up to 80mph things seemed to calm down a lot. Fewer passed me like I was standing still. But still, even at 80mph I was not passing anyone. Much Love. Cap.

Thank You so much Tandy for checking in here. I really appreciate your interest. I hope September works out for all of us. First I have to get over there and get settled. One step at a time Tandy. Smiles. Cap
