Do any of you, perhaps vaguely recall, what my absolutely, most favorite Chinese meal is?

A certain ‘dish’ that I go looking for?

Here in little ol’ Rochester, Minnesota?

Oh C’mon! You gotta be kidding me!

NEW CHINA .. CHINESE FOOD

It is a small, somewhat non-descript, Chinese restaurant off South Broadway in a mini-shopping mall here in Rochester, Minnesota.

NEW CHINA is basically a take-out venue but it certainly has adequate eat-in seating.

Turning to our right from the above view, we see the ordering counter.

Notice, if you will, the young lady behind the ordering counter above and below.

Do you see her little step-stool that she stands upon to serve the customers.

She is up on her tippy-toes above.

She is with her mom like white on rice.

“Honey? May I snap your photo?”

Bianca was in charge of the order counter. She welcomed customers. She answered the phone and took orders. Handled money and credit card payments. She is age 7-years and begins 2nd grade tomorrow, the day after (today) Labor Day. She was born in New York City and has visited Beijing, China. What a little charmer. She was the highlight of our visit.
