DOES THE SHADOW KNOW? .. I SURE DON’T ..

And I, your Captain, am the one calling-the-shots.

DOES THE SHADOW KNOW if I’m going to return to the United States via Hong Kong or will it be via Seoul, South Korea? .. I SURE DON’T ..

I have a bought-and-paid for ticket to fly to Hong Kong on Tuesday, 3 December. I have made reservations to stay at the Salisbury Road YMCA in Kowloon.

I’m in touch daily with my Hong Kong friends.

Unless you’ve been living-under-a-rock for the past six months, there are some serious ‘issues’ regarding visiting Hong Kong.

Do I want them? Do I need them? NO but I want so very much to visit my many friends in Hong Kong.

DOES THE SHADOW KNOW ..

    Hong Kong IS a serious concern, increasingly becoming more pervasive. We have always loved Hong Kong. We have close, long term friends there, permanent residents. It is such a shame to feel we cannot move through there freely and safely. It is one of the places where we have always felt most safe. I know you are watching this closely and will decide what is best. My heart and prayers are with you every step of the way. Love and hugs. Patti

      Thanks for your wisdom and knowledge of the situation in Hong Kong My Dear One. It is hard to fathom what’s going on there. Terrible damage to the infra-structure such as the MTR / Subway system and bank ATM machines and buildings and on and on and on. This in-the-name of wanting democracy? It makes no sense whatsoever. It’s not necessarily what’s best (probably what’s best is to skip a visit) but what I can accept in terms of potential risks. Much Love .. Cap
