MAR 31, 20 .. LEAVING BARSTOW, CA HEADING FOR KINGMAN, ARIZONA

We had one great, fantastic, super-duper, phenomenal, above-the-limit, as-good-as-it-gets, trip from Lompoc here to Barstow. Perfect day. Light traffic (well .. light for California) and some fun visits along the sunny California Pacific Ocean Coast between Santa Barbara and Ventura.

Today we head for Kingman, Arizona.

A tad, just a little, drama.

From Lompoc, California, south and then east from Ventura to Santa Clarita, California, took us just at three hours. Patti felt that (just maybe, not in a dire way) she would like to use a restroom and we pulled into a McDonald’s restaurant.

The rest rooms were barricaded.

I asked and I was told..

“Sir. All public rest rooms in the State of California are closed.”

Oh My This Covid-19 Thing Is Going Over The Top!

Patti ‘made-it’ to Barstow OK. I stopped a minimum of five (5 count them) times (ah .. beside the road).

Odd internet here so want to publish this to see IF it goes on-line.

If Arizona goes the way the rest of the states are going, you’re going to find a lot of things closed. AZ issued a new mandate about closing businesses today. Take care.

We plan to take care Gullible. We’ve seen many businesses closed already on our first day in Arizona. Cap and Patti

FYI: KINGMAN – There are now seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mohave County, including four in the Kingman area, according to the Mohave County Department of Public Health.

In a related matter, the health department announced that persons who visited the Mohave County Library – Kingman Branch between Tuesday, March 10 and Sunday, March 15 should self-monitor for coronavirus symptoms, which include a fever, cough and shortness of breath.

Thanks Gullible. We REALLY APPRECIATE your updates. We’ve been to the Library here in Kingman many times over the past several years and know it well. Cap and Patti
