MAY 1, 20 .. Part 2 of 3 .. FRIDAY MAY 1st .. PROCEDURE DAY AT MAYO CLINIC FOR PATTI

So far So good.

Patti and I were up at 5am. We were out the door of our motel at 5:40am. We were at the Mayo Clinic at 6am a full 30 minutes early. We sat quietly in our truck for ten minutes and Patti said she was starting to feel nervous and so we walked to the (there were two of them) tables at the entrance where Patti did her first check-in. She was asked several questions (do you feel ill, is your nose running, etc) her temperature was taken and she was given a face mask and (I could not go into the building with her) we hugged our good-bye and off she went. We were able to wave to one another for awhile and then she disappeared into the interior of the Mayo Clinic.

I opted to return to our motel because for me to wait in our truck out in the parking lot as the temperature begins to warm up was not too appealing for either of us. I have already received a Mayo update on my cell phone so I know they have my phone number correct for future updates.

So for now, there you have it at 7:30am PDT Friday the 1st of May. More to follow.
