AUG 23, 17 .. MY LAST DAY IN ULAANBAATAR .. I HOPE TO RETURN

I made a nice trip downtown this afternoon to check out two venues that I have been wanting to check out.

STATE DEPARTMENT STORE FOOD COURT

I really liked The State Department Food Court. It is up on the 7th floor.

On a sunny day you can sit outside on the roof.

One of several VIP rooms available to eat in.

Nice view of downtown Ulaanbaatar. Notice the Blue Sky Hotel. Yes, another rainy day.

LUNA BLANCA VEGAN FOOD

The Luna Blanca Vegan Food restaurant is located in a Buddhist center.

No smoking. No alcohol.

My table is the one in the front foreground.

A vegan pasta salad. It was excellent.

Vegan ‘Burger’ with fries. The potatoes were out of this world. Outstanding spices on them. Baked not fried.

Luna Blanca Chocolate Cream Cake.

Yes indeed, the vegan cake was also excellent.

Your Wednesday the 23rd is now my Thursday morning the 24th and I have an airplane to catch. Happy is due here to my apartment to pick me up pretty soon.

Hope you enjoyed this little snippet of my day Wednesday the 23rd.

The food at Luna Blanca Vegan Food looks exquisite … I have often thought I could be a vegan … I don’t eat meat anyway. Looks like you had a very pleasant “last day in Mongolia” day out and about. And, here came the Mongolian hoards again. They certainly had their day ruling a huge part of the world! Safe travels to Hong Kong Dear One. Love, Patti

It was exquisite My Dear One. I too could become a Vegan. Wow. I offered to take Changer and his family to Luna Blanca, he knows of it because he has visited the Buddhist Center there. He turned it down saying, “Cap we Mongolians eat meat.” Much Love .. Cap
